We all tend to think of our problems as unique but what usually gets us is just a remix of a problem that has always plagued man since Adam and Eve. For all of our problems, Jesus is the one answer that can always work.

I’ve lived my life for fifty years
Through times of joy and times of tears
Through real and imagined fears, I have learned
That often things that look the best
Soon turn bad and fail the test
They’re just the same as all the rest of life’s illusions
Nothing is new, under the sun
It’s all been done before
Turn back and run, to God’s only Son
His work was done for you

I had so much and lost it all
I was so proud before the fall
But He never left or ceased to call my name
So these are now my later years
With all their joys and all their tears
I still can have some times of fears, but I know
Nothing is new, under the sun
Come back to the One who made you
Turn back and run, to God’s only Son
His work was done to save you
